Reserve Component

Mission

The Reserve Component Food Service office liaisons between the Army G4, Quartermaster School, Army National Guard and Army Reserve logistics and training community:
Providing General and Technical Food Service expertise while ensuring the Reserve Component requirement/capabilities and quality of life are considered in the development and application of regulations, policies, organizational structure and training. Ensures the Logistical mission requirements of the reserve components are supported at the same levels as the active component.

Functions

  • Food Service Training Workshop (Every 2 years)
  • On-site unit level and above hands-on training (FSC, MKT, MBU, CK & AFMIS)
  • Advise Commands on the DA level Philip A. Connelly and Culinary Arts Program
  • Conduct Command Logistic Reviews (CLRP/CLRT)
  • Conduct annual Field Feeding Assessments
  • Assist in the Development of Food Service Regulations and Policies
  • Assist with fixed MOB and DE-MOB feeding facilities / Sites
