Academic Records
MISSION
The Training Management Department (TMD) provides administrative services to the Quartermaster School (QMS) and maintains all resident student records and files. The Academic Records section also serves as Project Officer for the functional and technical aspects of RITMS for the QMS.

Enrollment, AERS, & Performance Management
- Initiates, collects, compiles, and edits information, and produces final
copy Academic Evaluation Reports (AER) for resident students. Provides technical knowledge and assistance to evaluators in all aspects of
reports. Maintains academic class history files on resident students.
- Serves as registrar for certifying records and preparing transcripts.
- Establishes quality control of student enrollments, reliefs, recycles, and graduate students with Trainee/Student Processing Branch. Audits and approves reliefs/recycles.
- Serves as the focal point for all statistical data pertaining to actual enrollment, student load, attrition, recycles, and graduates.
- As required, compiles statistical data for DA, TRADOC, Commander, and others.
- Prepares the Status of Students Report.

- Requisitions and maintains inventory of diplomas, certificates, and awards.
- Computes statistical data to determine award recipients in designated courses, and notifies sponsoring agency of those honored.
- Prepares commendation letters for distinguished graduates, honor graduates, commandant's list, and other honorary awards. Prepares engraving requests for award plaques and name plates, and provides them to the respective training departments.
- Prepares diplomas and certificates for resident students and honorary awards for proponent staff and faculty. Prepares certificates for special training/MTT requirements.
- Serves as the administrator for the QMS Faculty Boards and Awards Program. Provides technical data for awards boards and faculty boards.
- Provides advice and guidance to the respective training departments and Board President members, and the Commander, QMS, on matters pertaining to faculty boards.
- Handles all administrative aspects of the proponent school faculty boards and the awards program.
- Plans, develops, and implements work required in the accountability and reporting of resident students in ATRRS.

- Serves as the System Administrator for RITMS with responsibility for the overall operation and management of RITMS for the QMS. Supervises the Civilian Site Operator for RITMS. Performs system backups in the absence
of the Site Operator.
- In processes all civilian students attending resident courses to include enrollment into the RITMS.
- Audits class schedule data, such as course titles and class start/end data in RITMS, with ATRRS and coordinates discrepancies with appropriate
action office.
- In conjunction with the RITMS contracted site manager, formulates
RITMS user identifications, department codes, and event/action code assignments.
- Retrieves data from the RITMS history files, upon request.
- Provides comprehensive technical assistance and training to RITMS users for the QMS as it relates to resident training/systems applications.
- Supervises monitoring and validating functional operations of all proponent school courses and classes.
- Resolves problems governing student records.
- Audits student grade books for accuracy and completeness. Coordinates and resolves all discrepancies with applicable training departments/23d QM Brigade.
- Creates personnel data base in RITMS for resident students and enrollment in appropriate courses of instruction.
- Evaluates system change requests prior to submission to TRADOC RITMS project manager.
- Maintains and distributes RITMS user's manuals.
- Manages the functional/technical aspects of RITMS.
