- Training with Industry
TWI Overview: The Training with Industry (TWI) Program was established to provide military personnel training and development of skills in civilian private sector procedures and practices not available through existing military or advanced civilian schooling programs. Following the participants' tenure at the industry, participants are placed in a two year utilization assignment to apply lessons learned to enhance the US Army.
Packet submission: QM TWI Officer packet submissions will remain open until 15 December 2017. There will be one candidate selected for the QM TWI position, selectee will report to industry summer 2018. Approved participants will be announced in January/February 2018. The following list provides the current company and location for the Quartermaster TWI Officer Position:
Eligibility:
- YG 2011-2013 or Captains who can fulfill a 1 year TWI and 2 year utilization tour as proponent directs.
- Meet Height and Weight requirements
- Must be Command Complete
- Must have completed Logistics Captain Career Course
- Must be regular Army on active duty
The Packet is comprised of:
- Signed TWI Statement of understanding (Click Here for Memorandum)
- Provide all Captain and Lieutenant Officer Evaluation Reports
- Provide two letters of recommendations (Battalion Commander and/or above)
- Provide most recent Officer Record Brief with DA Photo
- Army Physical Fitness Test (DA Form 705) w/ Body Fat Composition worksheet (DA Form 5500/5502) if applicable
- Academic Evaluations
- Complete a five year career map as if selected for the FY17 TWI program, include two year utilization assignment and ILE considerations. (Example)
Note: Incomplete TWI submission will not be considered
