Detachment, 561st Quartermaster Battalion.
Companies
A, B, C and D as the 3212th, 3213th, 3214th and 3215th
Quartermaster Service Companies, respectively (hereafter separate
lineages).
Headquarters and Headquarters
Detachment, 561st Quartermaster Battalion, inactivated 25 June
1946 in France.
Redesignated 28 March 1967 as
Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 561st Supply and Service
Battalion and allocated to the Regular Army.
Activated 25 April 197 at
Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Reorganized and redesignated
21 June 1973 as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 561st
Maintenance Battalion.
Reorganized and redesignated
21 April 1978 as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 561st
Supply and Service Battalion.
